Our Story
Garnet Instruments Ltd. is our parent company based in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. Garnet is dedicated to measuring liquid levels in all applications, such as transport tankers and RV holding tanks. We also specialize in overfill control systems for the bulk liquid transport industry. All of our products and technologies are designed and manufactured in-house and have allowed us to become the dominant player in the crude oil transportation gauge industry.
Garnet US Inc. our US-based office in Granbury Texas, markets, distributes, and supports our products throughout the United States. Products are stocked and maintained in the US distribution center for timely response to customer needs. Regular feedback from Garnet US ensures that customer concerns and requests are incorporated into product designs. Close communication and cooperation with our customers is the key to both your success and ours.
Garnet has expanded into the European market with a dedicated sales team based in the Netherlands. Our team is actively engaging with leading companies across Germany, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom. Our History
1993
Founded in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Garnet initially developed diagnostic testers for the oilfield transport industry. The groundbreaking SeeLeveL truck tank gauge was introduced, revolutionizing liquid-level measurement.
1995
Following the initial gauge’s success, Garnet received numerous requests for gauges in other applications, including overfill protection and enhanced loading rack safety.
1998
While expanding the transport product line into the United States, a reliable solution for RV tank monitoring was revealed and decided to target the consumer market with the SeeLeveL RV product line.
2002
Following the resounding success of their initial transport gauges, Garnet received customer requests to develop measurement systems for diverse applications, such as water, septic, and vacuum trucks.
2004
Encouraged by positive feedback and rising interest from RV manufacturers, Garnet utilized new SMT line technology to expand its product range to OEMs and dealers.
2007
Expanded its facility to accommodate rising production needs, driven by increasing demand and investment in advanced equipment.
2011
The boosted economy led to exceptional growth, prompting an increase in facility space and the acquisition of advanced equipment.
2018
While celebrating 25 years of innovation, Garnet continued to develop enhanced product solutions based on customer feedback.
2023
Celebrating 30 years, Garnet successfully navigated the pandemic by reducing facility size and staffing, paving the way for new opportunities, welcoming back its previous workforce, and fostering innovations for the future.
2025
Garnet is poised for new product development to meet the evolving industry needs. After over three decades of success with North American OEMs and direct consumers, Garnet has expanded into the European market.
